Opportunity Barks

Opportunity Barks offers dog boarding, daycare and training on a countryside property on Hill Top Drive in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. It suits owners who want cage-free care and plenty of room for their dog to run.

What services does Opportunity Barks offer?

Overnight boarding, daycare and training all happen at one facility. Daycare runs seven days a week, so owners with packed weekdays can also use it on weekends.

• Cage-free and traditional boarding
• Dog daycare, including Saturdays and Sundays
• Training
• Medication given during stays
• Baths and nail trims as add-ons

What sets it apart from other kennels?

Space is the main draw. Dogs play in large, secure, fenced grassy yards, and there is also an indoor play area. The building is heated and air-conditioned. It has paw-friendly flooring and air purification, and the toys are sanitized every day. Summer brings pools and sprinklers, and winter brings sweaters.

Playgroups are sorted by age, size and temperament, so a shy senior dog isn't thrown in with a crowd of rowdy young dogs. The facility lists several AKC credentials: the Registered Handler Program, Canine Good Citizen, Advanced Canine Good Citizen and the AKC Temperament Test. It also lists Oregon Canine CPR and First Aid certification.
