Leader of the Pack Canine Institute

Leader of the Pack Canine Institute is a dog boarding, daycare, and training facility at 6346 Farm Bureau Road in Allentown, PA. Owners can book overnight dog boarding in Allentown here, and the same building also runs daycare, grooming, and obedience classes. Training is at the heart of the business. It describes its goal as creating happy and balanced dogs, one leader at a time.

What services does it offer?

The facility covers most of what a dog owner needs in one place:

• Overnight dog boarding
• Doggy daycare with indoor play
• Group obedience and puppy classes
• Behavior modification for dog and human aggression
• Grooming, plus an on-site shop for treats, leashes, collars, and apparel

What sets it apart from a typical kennel?

The main difference is training. The facility lists several professional credentials, including CPDT-KA certification, professional membership in both the APDT and the IACP, and AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator status. That matters for owners who want a dog's time away to include work on manners. It also offers behavior modification for dogs that show aggression toward other dogs or people.

Health and visibility get attention too. Leader of the Pack is a certified Heroes for Healthy Pets facility. Owners can also check on their dog during the day through webcam access.

What are the hours and how do you book?

The Allentown location is open 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday it is open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Bookings are handled by phone at (610) 366-8282, and general questions can go to info@lopci.com.

The business also runs a second location in Easton. That gives families across the Lehigh Valley two options for daycare, boarding, and training.
