Lakeside Pet Daycare & Resort is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 14900 Colorado Rd in Dixon, Missouri. For owners looking for dog boarding in Dixon, it offers overnight stays, daily daycare and grooming in one place, with staff on site around the clock.

What services does Lakeside offer?

The resort offers traditional overnight boarding, private suites and full-day daycare for small, medium and large dogs. The kennel's own description focuses on safety, comfort and wellness rather than frills.

• Overnight boarding in climate-controlled private suites
• Doggie daycare seven days a week
• Grooming services
• Medication given during the stay
• Pet transport within a 40-mile radius

What does a dog's day look like?

Dogs spend time in both indoor and outdoor play areas. Play sessions run in groups or one-on-one, with a pool, fetch and other games in the mix. The property sits out in open country away from town, which the kennel describes as a relaxing spot for a dog's time away from home.

What does a stay cost?

Published rates run from $20 to $30 per day. The boarding rate is all-inclusive and covers food, bedding, toys and any medicine a dog needs. Dogs new to boarding can start with a half-price sleepover, which works as a trial run for a nervous dog. Military families with one dog also qualify for a discount.

How do owners book a stay?

Reservations are made by phone at 573-528-9624. Proof of vaccination is required, so it helps to have records ready before calling. Lakeside is open every day of the week, so weekend drop-offs and pickups are an option.
