Idlewild Kennel

Idlewild Kennel is a family-owned kennel at 3886 County Road M in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, offering dog boarding, dog daycare, and cat boarding. The owners live on the property, so dogs are supervised around the clock rather than only during office hours. All breeds are welcome.

What a stay looks like

Dogs get outdoor time in play areas grouped by size and temperament rather than turned out all together. Each dog has its own cot. The day ends with a nightly turn-down service and an evening potty break between 8 and 9 p.m. Because the owners live on site, someone is close by overnight, on weekends, and during bad weather.

Owners who feed a specific diet can bring it along; the kennel keeps freezers and refrigerators for food or medication that needs them. Medication is administered as part of the stay.

The office is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, so drop-off and pickup windows are worth confirming when booking.
