Sara's Playful Pals Kennel & Training LLC

Sara's Playful Pals Kennel & Training LLC is a small, owner-run kennel at 5349 Gauthier Rd in New Franken, WI, offering overnight boarding, daycare, and dog training. For owners comparing dog boarding in New Franken, its main draw is size. The kennel's site describes a calmer, smaller setting built as an alternative to big, busy facilities.

What services are offered?

Boarding, daycare, and training are the core services. A holistic side of the business has grown up alongside them.

• Overnight boarding in multiple kennel sizes
• Small-group daycare, with individual play for dogs that prefer solo time
• Dog training from an ABC Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer
• A shared-kennel discount for dogs from the same home
• Holistic pet health coaching, plus Reiki and Emotion Code sessions for pets

How is it different from a larger kennel?

The daycare approach centers on small play groups and a balance of play and rest. The site explains that overstimulation can build stress and frustration, which is harder to manage in a big group. Training know-how is also used to help boarding dogs avoid getting stuck in anxiety while their owners are away.

Credentials listed for the business include ABC Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer (ABCCDT), Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach through Dr. Ruth Roberts' program, Reiki Master, and Emotion Code Practitioner. Owners interested in natural approaches to their dog's health may find that combination unusual for a boarding kennel.

What should owners know before booking?

Published boarding rates run from $40 to $60 per night. Vaccinations are required, so it makes sense to confirm the specifics when calling. Booking is handled by phone at (920) 360-9433, and the kennel also lists sarasplayfulpals@gmail.com for questions.

Owners can bring their dog's own food, bedding, treats, and toys, which helps keep routines familiar. Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and on Sunday, and 9:00 AM to noon on Saturday.
