Happy Tails Playcare

Happy Tails Playcare runs group-play dog boarding and daycare out of 108 Marble Lane in Jonesboro, AR. Dogs board by the night, and daycare is included from drop-off until pickup, so a boarding stay works out to a run of play days with sleepovers in between.

The setup is built around playtime in any weather. There is a 1,500 sq ft air-conditioned indoor play area plus a large fenced outdoor yard of 2,000 sq ft surfaced with artificial turf. What owners should know before the first stay

Every new dog attends one full day of daycare as an evaluation before boarding can be booked. The facility is direct about the fact that group play does not suit every dog, and the evaluation exists to sort that out honestly. Adult dogs a year and older must be spayed or neutered to join playgroups. Intact adults can still board, cared for solo between groups with one-on-one play sessions and potty breaks. Puppies are welcome starting at 12 weeks with their first round of shots and a negative fecal test.

Practical details

Required vaccines are rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella, and they must be current for daycare, boarding, and spa services. Owners upload records to their pet's profile in the online booking account, which is also where stays are reserved. Food is not provided, so owners bring the right amount for the whole stay. Drop-off and pickup happen during set lobby windows: mornings and evenings Monday through Saturday, and 3-5 p.m. only on Sunday, when daycare does not run.
