Groom & Board PHL

Groom & Board PHL offers dog boarding, dog daycare and grooming at 1733 Reed Street in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia. It also runs a second location in Fishtown. Overnight boarding costs $75 per night, and the kennel takes dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant ones.

What does a boarding stay include?

Boarding dogs sleep in private suites. The nightly rate covers walks and one-on-one potty breaks with a handler, so that time with staff is part of the price. If a dog needs more activity, owners can add a mid-day walk. Staff can also give medication during the stay.

• Overnight boarding in private suites
• Supervised small-pack daycare
• Grooming at the same location
• Medication administration
• Mid-day walk add-ons

What sets it apart?

The kennel has a playful, personal style. Its staff describe themselves as "your best friend's best friends," and the website reads warm and casual. Grooming, daycare and boarding all happen in one place, which makes life easier for owners who use more than one service. Dogs from the same household get a discount when they share a kennel. Boarding is also offered over holidays, when many owners travel.
