Furbaby Resort

Furbaby Resort is a boarding and daycare facility at 900 W. Pinon St. in Farmington, NM, handling dog boarding, dog daycare, and cat boarding. Dogs stay in climate-controlled private suites with access to secure outdoor runs, a big yard, and an indoor recreation area. Cats get their own kitty condos.

What sets it apart

Play groups here are not automatic. Dogs are screened for behavior before they join one, which matters for owners of a shy or pushy dog. Recreation otherwise happens one-on-one with staff, so a dog that skips group play still gets out of its suite.

Guests who settle better with background noise can have Dog TV or soothing pet music playing. A comfort doghouse or crate can be placed inside a suite for dogs that prefer a den. Owners who forget the food bag can put their pet on the in-house meal plan.

Practical details

Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Booking is handled by phone at (505) 932-8970, and rates are quoted the same way. Proof of current vaccinations is required before a pet checks in.
