Cici's Paws and Whiskers

Cici's Paws and Whiskers is a traditional dog boarding and cat boarding kennel in Farmington, New Mexico, at 7303 East Main Street. Dogs of every size are welcome, from small breeds through large ones, and cats have their own dedicated setup.

Where pets stay

Dogs can be booked into a country suite, which pairs a roomy indoor area with attached outdoor space, or into an indoor kennel suite. Either way, the building runs on indoor heating and cooling, so July heat and January cold stay outside. Cats get a three-level Kitty Condo with a bird's-eye view of the room.

How a day goes

Dogs are rotated into the yards several times a day. The yards are secure, and dogs are never mixed with other dogs, which matters for a pet who does not enjoy the company of strangers. Staff can also administer medication during a stay.
