Elite Dogs Training & Boarding

Elite Dogs Training & Boarding offers dog boarding in West Sacramento at 3500 West Capitol Ave, with obedience and behavior training under the same roof. Nightly boarding rates run from $50 to $95, and the facility is open seven days a week.

What is a boarding stay like?

The building is fully heated and air-conditioned, so dogs stay comfortable through summer heat and winter chill. The property has outdoor space, and indoor-only kennels are available for quieter dogs who do better away from the bustle. Each day includes several exercise and enrichment sessions. Dogs that love water can be signed up for "Beach Play," an optional add-on with a heated pool.

What services are offered?

• Overnight boarding in climate-controlled kennels
• Baths and nail trimming
• Medication given during a stay
• Obedience, behavior and reactivity training
• Optional "Beach Play" sessions in the heated pool

What sets it apart from a standard kennel?

Training is a core part of the business, not a side service. The staff take on behavior and reactivity problems, and the work focuses on the owner as much as the dog. Owners get handler instruction so they can communicate clearly with their dog and keep the progress going at home. The kennel's own site describes a structured, consistent style aimed at calm, reliable behavior in everyday life.

For owners who want boarding plus a little more, that mix of care and training is the main draw. Dogs with medication needs or a coat that needs attention can also be handled during the same stay.
