Grateful Dog

Grateful Dog is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 430 17th Street in midtown Sacramento, CA. Dogs here spend the day playing in groups and stay overnight in a shared, cage-free space instead of individual kennel runs.

What does a stay at Grateful Dog look like?

The facility has over 4,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas, including two outdoor yards with splash pools. The indoor play space gives dogs somewhere to stay active when it's too hot or wet to be outside. Staff supervise the dogs 24/7, including overnight.

The place is built around group play and socializing. Dogs that enjoy other dogs' company tend to do well with this kind of care.

Who is it a good fit for?

Grateful Dog suits Sacramento owners who want boarding and daycare at a single address near downtown. Grooming, walks and pick-up service are all handled by the same team, which keeps things simple for busy households. Dogs that take medication or need a special diet can also be cared for here.
