The Bark Park Pet Resort & Daycare

The Bark Park Pet Resort & Daycare is a pet resort at 2112 Alhambra Blvd that offers dog boarding in Sacramento, plus daycare and grooming under one roof. Overnight rates run from $89 to $126 per night, and owners book stays online.

What does an overnight stay include?

Overnight guests get all-day supervised Park Play, so a boarding dog spends the day playing instead of waiting in a room. Meals are served in the dog's room, up to three a day, and rooms are cleaned daily. Dogs sleep in private suites inside a climate-controlled building with indoor play space.

• Private suites with climate control
• All-day supervised Park Play for overnight guests
• Daycare with indoor play
• On-site grooming
• 24/7 supervision

Can it handle medications and special diets?

Yes. Staff can give medication and follow a special diet, which helps owners of senior dogs or pets with sensitive stomachs. Owners who want extra attention for their dog can add one-on-one pamper time or premium treats to a stay. The resort says its care focuses on comfort, safety and cleanliness, with attention matched to each dog's needs.

What sets it apart?

The staff is a Dog Guru certified team. Before a dog joins group play, it goes through a Play Style Evaluation. Owners of shy or high-energy dogs may like that screening step. The overall feel is a calm, resort-style setting rather than a basic kennel.
