Cloud Nine Pet Retreat

Cloud Nine Pet Retreat is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 146 Hunter Forge Road in Macungie, PA. It sits on a 30-acre countryside property with a creek and nature trails. The retreat also boards cats and offers grooming, so a household with more than one pet can use a single place. It is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

What are the accommodations like?

Dogs stay in indoor/outdoor suites with raised-platform Kuranda beds, and cats have their own condos. The buildings have heat-radiant floors, air conditioning, and humidity control. A 24-hour healthy air system and a security protection system are also in place.

How do dogs spend their time?

Large fenced play yards are used for either individual or group play, depending on the dog. The retreat follows a vet-approved exercise program built around its country setting. Daycare is available for owners who need daytime care rather than an overnight stay.
