Cat Clinic

Cat Clinic is a feline-only veterinary practice at 1680 Tustin Avenue in Costa Mesa, CA, that also offers overnight cat boarding. It does not board dogs. Owners looking for cat boarding in Costa Mesa will find a calm, quiet setting run by a team that works with cats every day.

What makes boarding here different?

The main difference is the medical side. Cat Clinic is a working veterinary clinic, so a vet is on site while cats are boarding. The Medical Director is a DABVP (Feline) board-certified feline specialist. The associate veterinarian is a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist.

For cats that need daily medication or have ongoing health concerns, this setup can make a trip easier to plan. Staff can give medication during the stay. Each boarding guest is looked after by a dedicated boarding caregiver.

The clinic describes its approach as personal and caring, with people who truly understand cats. Because the facility is feline-only, boarding guests don't share space with dogs. That matters for cats that are easily stressed by noise.

What services and amenities are offered?

• Feline-only boarding in a calm, quiet environment
• Private suites in a variety of enclosure sizes
• Two levels of stay: Basic Accommodation and Luxury Townhome
• Medication administration during boarding
• On-site veterinary care from a board-certified feline specialist's team

How do owners book a stay?

Reservations are made by phone at (949) 642-3494. Current vaccinations are required for all boarding guests, so it's worth confirming the exact requirements during that call. General questions can also go to staff@catclinicvet.net.

The clinic posts updates on its Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages. Those are a good place to get a feel for the team before booking a first stay.
