Beach City Animal Hospital

Beach City Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital at 7412 Warner Ave in Huntington Beach, CA, and it also boards dogs and cats. For owners comparing dog boarding in Huntington Beach, the main difference here is that pets stay at a facility with a veterinary team on site.

What does a boarding stay include?

Because boarding happens inside an animal hospital, medical help is down the hall instead of a phone call away. The hospital lists these services and amenities:

• Boarding for dogs and cats
• On-site veterinary team
• Medication administration during a stay
• Grooming
• Wellness exams and vaccinations

Which dogs is it a good fit for?

This setup makes the most sense for dogs that take daily medication, older dogs, or dogs with health issues that need watching. Staff can give medications during a stay, and the same building handles surgery, dentistry and internal medicine. The hospital also offers cold laser therapy and pain management. Owners who want their dog cleaned up before pickup can ask about grooming as well.

How does the practice describe its approach?

On its website, the hospital calls itself a neighborhood practice and puts weight on honest, personalized care. It treats dogs from the puppy years through old age. For a dog that already comes here for wellness exams and vaccinations, boarding in a familiar building may make the stay easier.
