Camp Fido Dog Daycare

Camp Fido Dog Daycare runs supervised dog daycare in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from its location at 8661 Stadium Drive. Dogs spend the day in group play, and staff the business calls dog wranglers watch them at all times. It is a weekday service, so it suits owners who work long hours or have a dog that needs more activity than an empty house can offer.

What does a day at Camp Fido look like?

Group play is the main event. The facility has indoor play space, and every group is monitored by wranglers rather than left to sort things out on its own. Camp Fido puts new wranglers through an intensive three-month training program. The site describes its approach to supervision as positive, calm and decisive, with an emphasis on building trust with each dog.

Which dogs is it a good fit for?

Camp Fido cares for puppies, high-energy dogs, and dogs with behavior issues. That last group matters, since many daycares are cautious about anxious or difficult dogs. The business runs two locations, Stadium Drive and The Knoll, set up for different play styles and energy levels. Owners can ask which one makes more sense for their dog.
