Badger Creek Kennels

Badger Creek Kennels is a dog boarding kennel on a 20-acre rural property at 11085 Riley Road in Wilton, CA, and it boards cats too. For owners looking for dog boarding in Wilton, or a kennel near Elk Grove or Galt, it offers a quiet country setting with plenty of room for dogs to move.

What does a typical day look like for a boarded dog?

Dogs spend time in spacious exercise yards for 45 to 60 minutes, two to three times a day. That outdoor routine is central to a stay here. Between outings, every dog gets a Kuranda bed or kennel deck to rest on.

The owners live on site and check on the dogs after hours. The kennel also lists 24/7 supervision among its amenities, which matters to owners who worry about the overnight stretch.

What services and amenities are offered?

• Climate control, with radiant tube heaters in winter and Cool Zone misting fans in summer
• Medication administration and special diets
• Full-service dog baths, plus free self-service baths
• Grooming
• Outdoor space across the rural property

Who runs the kennel?

The owner is a graduate of a Registered Veterinary Technician program. That training can be reassuring for owners whose dogs need medication or a special diet while they are away.
