All Paws Retreat

All Paws Retreat is a woman-owned dog boarding and daycare facility at 154 S Yale Ave in Columbus, Ohio. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds to giants. Grooming and training are offered in the same building.

What services does All Paws Retreat offer?

The facility covers most of what a dog owner needs in one place. Overnight boarding costs $65 per night, according to the kennel's website. Households with more than one dog can get multi-dog discounts.

• Overnight boarding with comfy cots and classical music
• Dog daycare with indoor play and four outdoor play spaces
• Grooming and training services
• Medication administration and special diets
• Webcam access plus daily photo and video report cards

What makes it different from other kennels?

The building is large, at 15,000 square feet, and its kennel design follows Fear Free principles. The goal of that approach is to lower stress for dogs who find boarding hard. For anxious dogs, staff can offer hemp treats, CBD oil, or essential oils, but only with the owner's permission.

Staff hold Pet First Aid & CPR certification. Owners who worry while they're away can check the webcams or wait for the daily report card with photos and video. The kennel says it cares for dogs' mental and emotional health as well as their physical health. The frequent updates show that focus on keeping owners informed.

What should owners know before booking?

Reservations are made online. Every dog must be current on vaccinations before a stay, so it helps to gather vet records early. Dogs on medication or a special diet can be accommodated.
