Woodland Wanders

Woodland Wanders, based in Keene, NH, is a dedicated canine enrichment service provider focused on fostering a strong bond between dogs and their owners through engaging outdoor adventures and relationship-centered care. Their philosophy centers on understanding and meeting a dog's physical and mental needs, believing that this leads to a happier, more balanced canine companion and helps prevent behavioral issues.

Key services include:

Enrichment Adventures

These are play-based outdoor excursions where dogs receive undivided attention from their Adventure Guide. Adventures take place on local trails, parks, and wild places, encouraging dogs to explore, swim, follow their nose, and engage in mentally stimulating games that cater to their instinctual needs.

Exposure Field Trips

Designed to build confidence and new skills, these trips introduce dogs to novel environments, sights, sounds, people, and animals. Locations can range from parks and dog-friendly stores to busy downtown areas and farms, helping dogs become more comfortable and generalize their skills.

In-Home Care

Providing reliable and kindhearted care when owners cannot be there, this service includes meals, playtime, potty walks, skill-building games, and cuddle time, tailored for puppies to seniors and even cats.

Woodland Wanders is committed to animal welfare, guided by the Five Freedoms, ensuring dogs are free from hunger, discomfort, pain, fear, and distress, while being able to express normal behaviors. They also emphasize environmental stewardship, leaving outdoor spaces better than they found them. With features like GPS tracking, adventure logs, and photo/video updates, owners can feel connected to their dog's experiences.
