Wilde Acres

Wilde Acres is a dog boarding and training facility at 6225 Glen Falls Rd in Glyndon, MD, set on a 20-acre wooded campus. For owners comparing dog boarding in Glyndon, it stands out because overnight stays sit alongside a strong focus on training. Each dog gets its own indoor stall, an outdoor run, and supervised time to play.

What does a boarding stay include?

Dogs sleep in private 6'x4' indoor stalls inside a temperature-controlled building. Every stall comes with a Kuranda bed, toys, and fresh water, plus access to an 8'x4' outdoor run. Staff can give medications, and meals follow the schedule the owner sets.

What makes Wilde Acres different?

The campus is the big draw. Six fenced fields and a set of wooded trails give dogs far more room than a typical kennel building offers. Training is at the center of the business too. Wilde Acres offers board and train, puppy training, and service dog training, so a stay can double as structured learning. The kennel describes its method as a balance of firm boundaries and freedom within them, backed by treats, toys, and plenty of praise.

What does it cost?

Rates published on the kennel's website run from $80 to $200 per night. Owners should confirm which rate applies to their dog when they book. Grooming is also offered on site, which makes it easy to send a dog home clean after a stay.
