Deer Park Kennels

Deer Park Kennels is a traditional dog boarding kennel on 15 acres of wooded grounds in the Baltimore area, and it boards cats as well. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant ones. The kennel also serves owners in Owings Mills, Pikesville, Reisterstown, and Carroll County.

Inside the kennels

Three buildings hold over 100 individual indoor/outdoor runs, so each dog gets its own space instead of a shared group room. Dogs from the same family can stay together in one run. The outdoor portions stretch up to 30 feet long, which matters for a large dog that needs room to move. Indoor areas are climate controlled.

Extras during a stay

Dogs that do better with extra attention can be signed up for add-ons: one-on-one walks, off-leash play, and cuddle time. Frozen Kong treats are on the list too. Ask about these when the reservation is made.

Booking, hours, and rates

Rates published on the kennel's website range from $26 to $50 per day, depending on the animal. The office is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week. Proof of current vaccinations is required before any stay, so plan to have records ready when booking.
