Veda's Dog Day Afternoon

Nestled in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood, Veda's Dog Day Afternoon offers personalized, kennel-free care for dogs (and the occasional cat) throughout West Seattle, Mount Baker, Madison Park, Leschi, Magnolia, and Capitol Hill. Since 2003, owner Veda Onori has combined a background volunteering with injured wildlife and years of nonverbal-communication experience to build genuine relationships with every "pack" member she cares for.

Rather than a traditional kennel, Veda runs a smoke-free, home-based boarding environment where overnight guests join her in a relaxed household routine after a full day of off-leash adventure.

Boarding guests must already be established off-leash clients, and all dogs are required to be spayed/neutered, licensed, current on vaccinations, and comfortable around other dogs, children, and adults. Evenings for boarding guests include dinner, yard time, and couch cuddles rather than crates or cages.

Pricing & Booking

Off-leash outings run $40 per day for one dog ($75 for two), while overnight kennel-free boarding is $75 per night. Prospective clients are encouraged to call or email directly to discuss availability and rates.
