Valley Inn for Pets

Valley Inn for Pets is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 320 Russell Street in Hadley, Massachusetts, that also boards cats and offers grooming. It is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and published rates run from $42 to $54 per day. Reservations are made by phone at (413) 584-5252.

What services does Valley Inn for Pets offer?

The main services are overnight boarding and doggie daycare, with a pet spa on site for grooming. Dogs split their time between an outdoor play yard and indoor play space. Cats are boarded too, in condos fitted with floor-to-ceiling scratch posts.

• Overnight boarding in private suites with Kuranda Cots and plush bedding
• Daycare with temperament-tested small playgroups
• Weather-protected K9 Grass outdoor play yard, plus seasonal swimming in kiddie pools
• Spa baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings
• Cat condos with floor-to-ceiling scratch posts

What makes it different?

Playgroups here are kept small, and dogs are temperament tested before they join one. That matters for owners whose dogs get overwhelmed in a big, loud pack. The outdoor yard is surfaced in K9 Grass and is weather-protected. In season, kiddie pools come out for swimming.

Older dogs get some extra thought. Anti-slip yoga mats are available for senior pets, a detail that owners of unsteady dogs will appreciate. Meals are prepared individually, using either the owner's food or the kennel's, which helps dogs on special diets.

What are the practical details?

Valley Inn for Pets keeps the same hours every day of the week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Booking is handled by phone, and the kennel can also be reached by email at Reception@valleyinnforpets.com. Its website has a playful tone, pitching a stay as a pet's vacation with playtime, spa time, and rest. Owners comparing options around Hadley should call to confirm current rates and availability for their dates.
