The Puppy Playground

The Puppy Playground is a veteran-owned dog boarding and daycare facility at 128 Van Bruggen Street in Galesburg, Michigan. It also offers dog training and grooming, all built around an indoor/outdoor dog park.

What services does The Puppy Playground offer?

Overnight boarding is the main service, and daycare, training and grooming are available at the same location. The kennel describes its approach in warm, family terms, and the setup reflects that focus on play and company.

• Overnight boarding with soft bedding and toys
• Dog daycare with indoor play and outdoor space
• Dog training and grooming
• Regular walks and play sessions
• Special diets and medication administration

What makes it different from a typical kennel?

Two things stand out. First, the facility has kennel cameras and gives owners webcam access, so they can check on their dog while they're away. It also lists 24/7 supervision.

Second, The Puppy Playground runs on a membership model with community events. The idea is that owners get to know the people whose dogs play alongside theirs. That's an unusually social approach for a kennel. It suits owners who want daycare to feel more like a neighborhood dog park than a drop-off counter.
