The Pet Plantation

The Pet Plantation is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 9562 Teays Valley Rd in Scott Depot, WV, offering cage-free stays, private suites and daytime play. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant ones, and staff are on site around the clock.

What kind of boarding does The Pet Plantation offer?

The facility is built around free-range play. Dogs can move between indoor play space and over half an acre of fenced-in yard, so they spend the day with other dogs instead of sitting in a crate. Owners who prefer a quieter setup for their dog can choose a private suite instead.

• Cage-free boarding with indoor and outdoor play
• Private suites for dogs who do better on their own
• Dog daycare for owners who need daytime care
• Grooming services on site
• Climate-controlled indoor areas

What sets it apart?

Supervision runs 24 hours a day, which counts for a lot when a dog is staying overnight. The extras have a personal touch: homemade holiday meals, cold treats for hot days, and one-on-one playtime with a staff member. Families with more than one dog can ask about the multiple dog discount.

The Pet Plantation also boards more than dogs. A dedicated quiet cattery keeps cats away from the barking, and the team takes exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, rodents and fish.
