The Dapper Dog

The Dapper Dog is a dog daycare in Harrisburg, South Dakota, that also offers training and grooming at 659 W Willow Street. It is open on weekdays and suits owners who want a supervised, social place for their dog during the workday.

What is a day at The Dapper Dog like?

The daycare, which the business calls the Social Club, puts dogs into playgroups by size, age, and energy. That helps a quiet older dog and a young dog who never stops moving each find the right company. The day mixes indoor play with quiet rest periods and enrichment activities, so dogs get breaks instead of nonstop action. The building is climate controlled, which keeps indoor play comfortable all year.

What services does it offer?

The Dapper Dog covers several kinds of daytime care under one roof. Owners can combine a daycare day with a training session or a grooming visit.

• Dog daycare with curated playgroups
• Dog training, including puppy training
• A grooming salon
• Climate-controlled indoor play space
• An online Pet Parent Portal for booking and report cards

How do booking and pricing work?

Booking happens online through the Pet Parent Portal. Owners can also check report cards on their dog's day there. Published rates run from $28 to $42 per day. Vaccinations are required, so owners should have their dog's records ready before the first visit.

When is it open, and how can owners reach it?

The Dapper Dog is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The 7:00 AM opening works well for drop-offs before work. Questions can go to (605) 214-5597 or thedapperdogpetcareservices@gmail.com. The business also posts updates on Instagram as @dapperdogpetcareservicessd.
