The Barkmore

The Barkmore is a crate-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 4409 Pattentown Road in Ooltewah, TN, and it also offers grooming. Dogs stay in private Luxury Lodge and cabin suites instead of crates, with outdoor yards for time outside. Staff hold a dog behavior certification from Dog Gurus.

What does a stay at The Barkmore include?

Boarding runs from $38 to $68 per night, depending on the suite. Dogs sleep on raised cots with premium bedding, and pet-friendly TV programs are part of the setup. Every guest gets at least four potty breaks a day. Each night ends with a peanut-butter Kong.

The yards are private and roomy, with both turf and real grass. That matters to owners whose dogs prefer grass.

• Crate-free boarding in lodge and cabin suites
• Daycare for dogs who enjoy company
• On-site grooming
• Medication given during the stay, and special diets followed
• Second-dog discount when two dogs share a suite

How does The Barkmore handle health and safety?

The staff's Dog Gurus certification covers dog behavior, which helps when dogs share play time. The facility is also certified in infectious disease control. Every dog must be vaccinated before boarding or daycare. Owners can call ahead to confirm which shots are needed.
