Southboro Kennels

Southboro Kennels is a boarding kennel at 47 Oregon Rd in Southborough, MA, offering dog boarding, doggy daycare, and cat boarding. Each dog gets a spacious indoor pen with an outdoor run, and the runs measure 30 to 44 feet long. That gives a dog real room to stretch out between playtimes.

What does a stay include?

Two playtimes are included with every stay, and they can be individual or group sessions. Pens are cleaned and disinfected daily. The indoor space is climate controlled, so dogs stay comfortable whatever the season.

Staff can also give medications during a stay. That matters for older dogs or any pet on a daily prescription.

• Indoor pens with outdoor runs of 30 to 44 feet
• Two individual or group playtimes per stay
• Doggy daycare
• Dog baths
• Medication administration

What extras can owners add?

Dog baths are available, which is handy before the ride home. The kennel also has a short menu of treat add-ons: a Kong, cookies, a puppaccino, a pupsicle, and Barkfast in Bed. These are small touches, but they give owners a simple way to make a longer stay feel a little more like home.

Does Southboro Kennels board cats?

Yes. Cats stay upstairs, separate from the dogs. Their rooms have windows, and cats get access to a living room area. For households with both a dog and a cat, that means one drop-off instead of two.

What about prices, hours, and booking?

Rates published on the kennel's website range from $40 to $150 per day. Calling is the best way to get an exact quote for a specific stay.

The kennel is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a short Sunday window from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Reservations are made by phone at 508-485-5136. Owners coming from elsewhere in Metrowest Massachusetts should plan drop-offs and pick-ups around those hours, especially on Sundays.
