Sniff Dog Hotel

Sniff Dog Hotel is a boutique dog hotel at 1828 NW Raleigh St in Portland, Oregon, offering overnight stays, daycare and grooming. For owners comparing dog boarding in Portland, it handles both daytime care and longer trips, and it runs a second location in Beaverton.

What services does Sniff Dog Hotel offer?

The hotel combines traditional and luxury boarding with daycare and grooming under one roof. The main services are:

• Overnight boarding in private suites, including the signature Treehouse, Penthouse and Family Suites
• Daycare with small playgroups matched by temperament and energy
• P.E. (Playgroups + Enrichment) sessions for dogs who like more structure in their day
• Grooming and spa services
• Private one-on-one care for dogs who would rather be with people than in a group

How is it different from a standard kennel?

The hotel describes its approach as calm, thoughtful and focused on the small details, and its setup reflects that in practical ways. Playgroups stay small and are sorted by temperament and energy level, so dogs aren't simply put together by size or chance. Dogs who do better alone can get one-on-one time instead.

Owners who like to check in can use webcam access during a stay. Staff supervise around the clock, and indoor play space keeps dogs active whatever the weather is doing outside.

Practical details for owners

Sniff stores refrigerated and frozen meals, so owners can send their dog's usual food, and staff can follow special diets. The team also gives medication. Vaccinations are required before a dog can stay.

Booking is done online. The Portland location can also be reached at 503-208-2366 or info@sniffdoghotel.com. The hotel runs a retail shop too, which is handy for picking something up at drop-off or pickup.
