Seventh Heaven Goldendoodles & Boarding Kennel

Seventh Heaven Goldendoodles & Boarding Kennel offers small, home-based dog boarding in Hopkins, SC. It is run by a husband and wife team with no hired help. The kennel boards dogs of every breed and size, from small dogs to giant breeds. It keeps a limited number of runs so each dog gets individual attention.

What is a stay like?

Dogs stay in indoor/outdoor runs with central heat and air conditioning. For exercise there are two large play yards with 6-foot cyclone fencing. The owners handle all of the care themselves, so the people you meet at drop-off are the same people looking after your dog each day.

• Indoor/outdoor runs with climate control
• Two large play yards with 6-foot cyclone fencing
• Your dog's own food, fed on its regular routine
• Medication given while your dog boards
• A private suite with a one-on-one pup-sitter

Is there a more private option?

The kennel also has the She-Shed, a private apartment where a dog gets a one-on-one pup-sitter. Owners whose dogs don't settle well in a run, or who just want more personal attention for their pet, may want to ask about it.

Why does the routine matter?

A familiar schedule can make time away from home easier on a dog. Seventh Heaven feeds the food you bring and follows your dog's normal routine. The small number of runs keeps the setting calmer than a large facility.

What does it cost, and how do you book?

Rates listed on the kennel's website range from $25 to $100 per day. Booking is by phone at 803-463-5639. Space is limited, so call ahead to check availability and confirm the rate for your dog.
