Ruff Ranch

What a day looks like

Dogs spend the day moving between the indoor yards and the outdoor space rather than sitting in a run. Groups are sorted by size, so a small dog is not playing alongside a much larger one. Enrichment is central to how the ranch describes its approach, and the yards are built for active play instead of quiet crate time. Owners get webcam access while their dog is checked in.

Boarding stays of five nights or longer include an exit bath on pickup day. House food is on hand if you forget to pack your dog's own.

Reservations are handled online, and the phone line is 913-361-7387. The kennel is open 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday, and 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Sunday. Proof of current vaccinations is required before any stay. Published nightly rates run from $25 to $99. First responders and veterans receive 10% off.
