RR Professional Dog Training & Boarding

RR Professional Dog Training & Boarding is a kennel at 1809 Sheils Road in Carlton, MN, offering overnight stays, daycare, grooming and training in one place. For owners comparing dog boarding in Carlton, the main draw is that a stay includes plenty of structured outdoor time and access to trainers, not just a place to sleep.

What is a boarding stay like?

Each dog gets its own private stall with a raised Kuranda orthopedic bed, so no one sleeps on bare concrete. The building is climate-controlled and uses a UV filtration system. Dogs go out for five outdoor play sessions a day in seven fenced-in runs. Owners can also add optional daily nature walks and brushing.

What services does the kennel offer?

• Overnight boarding in private suites
• Dog daycare
• Training, including behavior training and puppy classes
• Grooming
• Medication administration for dogs that need it

Who is it a good fit for?

The kennel accepts small, medium, large and giant dogs. That makes it a practical option for households with a big breed or several dogs of different sizes. Training is a core part of the business. It suits owners who want their dog to keep practicing good habits while they're away.

The team also works with rescues and local shelters. The website describes this as helping dogs with training and behavior challenges find permanent homes, which gives a sense of how the staff approach harder cases.

Practical details

The website lists boarding rates from $41 to $53 per night. Vaccinations are required, so it's worth confirming the specific list before booking. Reservations are made online. Questions can go to (218) 384-1888 or rrprofessionaldogtraining@gmail.com.
