Rachel's Pet Haus

Rachel's Pet Haus is a small, crate-free dog boarding and daycare service at 3505 5th St NE in Minneapolis. It offers in-home dog boarding and small-group daycare for owners who want something calmer than a large facility. Groups are capped at 10 dogs per day.

What does Rachel's Pet Haus offer?

The setup is home-style, not kennel-style. Dogs spend the day playing and resting with a small group. At night they sleep in cozy, home-like rooms instead of crates.

• Small-group daycare, capped at 10 dogs per day
• Overnight boarding in home-like rooms
• Crate-free, cage-free care
• Indoor play space
• Meet & Greet introductions for new dogs

How do new dogs get started?

New clients go through two steps before a first stay. A Meet & Greet introduces the dog to the space and the people who will care for them. Every new client must also complete a socialization test. The test helps show whether a dog is comfortable and safe in a group setting.

How is it different from a larger kennel?

The business describes its approach as calm and built around routine, with dogs spending time among familiar friends. The 10-dog daily cap keeps groups small. That can suit dogs that get overwhelmed in busy, noisy places. Because space is limited by design, owners planning a holiday trip may want to check availability early.
