Happy Hounds Hideaway

Happy Hounds Hideaway is an in-home dog boarding service in Fridley, MN, offering overnight stays and puppy boarding in a private home rather than a kennel building. Nightly rates run from $40 to $45, and stays are requested online.

What is boarding here like?

Dogs stay in a household instead of a row of runs. The home has a resident dog named Nala, so guests spend their stay with a friendly host pup. The owners describe their goal in plain terms: every dog should go home spoiled, happy, and tired.

This kind of setup tends to suit dogs who settle best with a relaxed, home-style routine. If your dog is unsure around other dogs, the required first meeting is a good time to talk that through.

What services are offered?

• Overnight dog boarding
• Puppy boarding
• A discounted rate for additional dogs
• A free night for each new referral that books
• The Frequent Tail Wagers Club loyalty program

Which dogs can stay?

Happy Hounds Hideaway accepts small, medium, large, and giant dogs. The hosts have experience with dogs from 7 lbs up to 150 lbs, so a toy breed and a giant breed both fall within range. Puppies are welcome and have their own boarding option.

How does booking work?

Every new guest needs a meet and greet before a first stay. After that, owners request dates through the online booking form on the Happy Hounds Hideaway website. Questions can go to (763) 227-5247 or happyhoundshideaway@gmail.com.
