Pets R People 2

Pets R People 2 is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 10629 Lexington Dr. in West Knoxville, TN. It offers cage-free boarding, traditional overnight boarding and full-day dog daycare in Knoxville, with staff on site 24 hours a day.

What services does Pets R People 2 offer?

The facility handles both day visits and overnight stays for small, medium and large dogs. Cats can board too, in a separate quiet room away from the dog areas. Key services include:

• Cage-free and traditional overnight boarding
• Dog daycare with indoor and outdoor play
• Bath, nail trim and flea/tick treatment add-ons
• Medication given during stays
• Meals included with boarding

What makes it different?

Play is the center of the day here. Dogs are sorted into play groups by size and energy level, so a calm small dog isn't mixed in with a crowd of high-energy large ones. The facility has 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas, plus an outdoor pool where dogs can cool off.

The kennel describes its approach as friendly, safe, clean and stimulating. Staff talk about the place as a home away from home for dogs. They lean into socialization but still give dogs a quiet spot to rest when nonstop play gets to be too much.

Practical details for owners

Boarding costs $50 per night, according to the kennel's website. Listed hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day of the week. Every guest must have current vaccinations.

Reservations are made online through a customer portal run on PetExec. Owners with questions before booking can call the front desk at 865-675-3647 or email doggies@petsrpeople2.us.
