Paws University

Paws University offers dog boarding, daycare, and training in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, at 73-4259A Hawaii Belt Rd. The seven-acre campus is arranged around segmented outdoor playgrounds, and overnight dogs stay in Doggie Dorm Rooms. Cats have their own space on the property, in two-level private condos. Grooming is offered on site as well.

Training is a core part of the operation. The Puppy Boarding School runs as a month-long program, and Paws-itive Change is built around behavior work. Owners whose dogs need daily medication or a specific diet can arrange both with staff.

Published boarding rates run from $40 to $120 per night. Reservations are made online, and current vaccinations are required before a stay.
