Mutt Butts of RI

Mutt Butts of RI is a pet care company in West Warwick, RI, offering in-home dog boarding and dog daycare along with walking, pet sitting, and transport. Boarding dogs stay in a pack leader's home rather than a kennel building. That setup can suit dogs that settle better in a house than in a facility.

What services does Mutt Butts of RI offer?

The team describes itself as dog handlers rather than simple walkers. Their approach centers on structured exercise, good leash manners, and socialization with other dogs. Services include:

• In-home boarding at a pack leader's home
• Dog daycare plus solo and group dog walking
• Sniffari adventure outings to beaches and trails
• In-home overnight pet sitting
• Cat visits and care for small and exotic animals

How is it different from a traditional kennel?

Boarding happens in a home, not a kennel facility. Owners who would rather keep their dog in familiar surroundings can book overnight pet sitting at their own house instead. Either way, owners get daily report cards with photos showing how the stay or visit went.

The company also lists care for special needs pets. That can matter to owners whose dogs have medical or behavioral needs that a busy kennel might not handle well.

A few extras stand out. The Waggin' Wagon pet taxi handles pickup, drop-off, and transport. There is even a wedding chaperone service for couples who want their dog at the ceremony without having to supervise it themselves.
