Lucky Bones Pet Resort

Lucky Bones Pet Resort offers dog boarding and daycare from its facility at 8200 Howe Industrial Pkwy in Canal Winchester, OH. It has served the Columbus area since 2004 and also provides grooming, training, and separate boarding for cats and small pets.

What services does Lucky Bones offer?

Boarding covers overnight, weekend, and extended stays. Daycare dogs play in supervised groups matched by size and energy level, which helps keep play comfortable for both calm dogs and very active ones.

• Overnight, weekend, and extended dog boarding
• Supervised group daycare matched by size and energy
• Grooming and training at the same location
• Medication administration for dogs that need it
• Separate boarding for cats and pocket pets such as hamsters, ferrets, birds, and lizards

What is the facility like?

Dogs have indoor play space and outdoor areas, and the building is climate controlled. The resort also runs Rensair HEPA-13 air purification systems. On its website, Lucky Bones describes its approach as structured and hands-on, with staff keeping an eye on each dog's behavior and comfort instead of just housing them.

Because boarding, daycare, grooming, and training all happen in one place, a dog can see the same surroundings and people from one service to the next. The resort notes that dogs who already know the daycare routine often settle into overnight stays more easily. Some owners also book grooming during a stay so their dog comes home clean.
