It offers overnight dog boarding in Raytown, along with stays for cats, rabbits, chinchillas, and other small mammals. The owner is a veterinary technician with over a decade of experience, which matters to owners whose dogs need a little extra attention.

What services does Laurel Pet Resort offer?

Boarding is the main service, and grooming and basic care are available on site. Key offerings include:

• Overnight boarding for dogs, cats, and small mammals
• Grooming, plus nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression
• Medication administration and special diets
• Bordetella and DHPP vaccinations
• Mattress bed rental for dogs who like a softer spot

What makes it different?

The add-on menu gives the place a personal feel. Owners can book a peanut butter Kong or other enrichment, lap time and cuddles, or a bedtime story. Extra play breaks with ball throwing are also on the list. These are small touches, but they suit dogs who get lonely away from home or simply love attention.

The kennel describes its approach as treating every guest like family in a warm, welcoming setting. A veterinary technician running the place is a real plus for older dogs or pets on medication.
