Kamp K9

Kamp K9 is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 2700 Taft Ave. in Orlando, FL, and it handles grooming and training on site as well. Small, medium, and large dogs are all accepted, and there are no breed restrictions. It draws from the College Park, Winter Park, Maitland, and Apopka areas.

How dogs spend the day

Every dog gets a temperament assessment before joining a play group. Groups are built around temperament, play style, personality, size, and age, not size alone. The practical effect is that a mellow senior is not turned loose with a pack of adolescents.

Staff send photo and video updates each day, so owners can see how the stay is going. Lodging and play areas are kept clean and sanitized, which matters in a building where dogs share space.

Food, medications, and booking

Kamp K9 keeps cold storage for wet food and pre-portioned meals, so a dog on a set diet stays on it, and staff can administer medication. Booking is handled online, and the team can be reached at 321-376-KAMP or info@kampk9.com. Proof of vaccination is required before a stay.

Hours and recognition

The facility is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday. Kamp K9 has been named a Central Florida Favorite for training and grooming, and recognized by Orlando Family Best of Pets for training.
