Howlin Hollows Farm

Howlin Hollows Farm is a cageless dog boarding and daycare facility set on several acres of land in Birmingham, AL. Founded by Scott and Kimi Welch, avid dog lovers and competitive AKC Hunt Test and Field Trial handlers, the farm grew out of their own search for a place where their Labradors could run and play instead of being cooped up in a kennel while the family traveled. That personal mission still shapes how every guest is cared for today.

Rather than confining pets to cages, Howlin Hollows lets dogs spend their stay outdoors in fenced play areas sized for big, medium, small, and miniature breeds, with time to swim, soak up the sun, and socialize with other dogs. Indoor luxury kennels provide a comfortable place to rest overnight, and the caring staff sticks to each pet's own feeding and medication schedule.

Conveniently located off Highway 280 near I-459, the farm serves families throughout the Birmingham metro, including Liberty Park, Brook Highland, Inverness, Cahaba Heights, Leeds, Irondale, and Mountain Brook. Owners are welcome to schedule a tour before booking to see the facility firsthand.

Every dog must pass a temperament test and provide current vaccination records before its stay, and all dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered, helping keep the farm's play groups calm and safe for every guest.
