Hound Around Resort

Hound Around Resort is a dog boarding, daycare and grooming facility at 8607 W Point Douglas Rd S in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. For owners searching for dog boarding in Cottage Grove, it offers overnight stays in private suites, supervised play, and live webcams so families can check in from anywhere.

What does a stay include?

The resort describes itself as a place built around play rather than a row of kennels. Dogs spend time in expansive outdoor yards with pools, obstacles, and real fire hydrants, and there is indoor play space as well. At night, staff handle an evening tuck-in with dinner and a final potty break.

• Private, climate-controlled suites for overnight boarding
• Live webcam access during the stay
• Indoor and outdoor play areas
• Daycare and grooming on site
• Medication administration and special diets

What sets it apart?

Owners who worry about being away can watch their dog on the webcams instead of waiting for updates. Families with more than one dog can book them into a shared suite, and each additional boarding dog gets 15% off. Dogs of every size are accepted, from small breeds up to giant ones.

New clients start with a free orientation and temperament evaluation. That first visit gives staff a chance to meet the dog before a longer stay.
