Golden Paws Grooming and Boarding

Golden Paws Grooming and Boarding is a dog boarding kennel and grooming shop at 848 SW Blue Parkway in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Owners looking for dog boarding in Lee's Summit can find both services here, so a stay and a bath or trim can be planned with one call. The shop also grooms cats, and its boarding service is for dogs.

What services does Golden Paws offer?

Boarding is offered alongside a full grooming menu. The shop calls itself a pet spa, and its add-on packages show why.

• Dog boarding
• Furminator de-shedding treatment
• Milk spa and dander spa packages
• Teeth brushing and nail add-ons
• Specialty shampoos: oatmeal, oxymed, flea, and whitening

How is it different from a boarding-only kennel?

Grooming is at the heart of this business, and boarding grew up beside it. The website talks about taking good care of pets while they're in the spa and making sure they look great at pickup. It's a small, friendly shop that thanks its regular customers by name in spirit, if not in print.

The spa packages are built around gentle extras. The milk spa and dander spa options pair a massaging bath with conditioning and teeth brushing. The Furminator treatment is meant to remove excess undercoat and cut down on shedding. Owners of heavy shedders may find that worth adding before bringing a dog home.

How do owners book a stay?

Booking is handled online through the Golden Paws website. Owners who want to ask about boarding first can call the shop at 816-525-7297. The website and the shop's Facebook page are the best places to check for current details before booking.
