Dogtown Dog Daycare and Boarding

Dogtown Dog Daycare and Boarding is a kennel-free daycare and overnight boarding facility at 1307 Boissevain Ave in Norfolk, VA. For owners comparing dog boarding in Norfolk, the main draw is its open-play setup, where dogs spend the day playing in a group rather than waiting alone in a run.

What is a day at Dogtown like?

The facility calls itself a social outlet for dogs, and the whole setup is built around group play. Dogs move between indoor play areas and outdoor space, with K9 turf underfoot. The idea is simple: give dogs room to burn off energy and get more comfortable around other dogs.

Overnight boarders join the daycare group during the day. At mealtime, boarders are fed individually, so each dog gets its own meal without competition from the pack.

Services and amenities

• Cage-free overnight boarding and daycare
• Indoor play areas and outdoor space
• Medication administration for boarders
• Grooming, including an exit bath after stays
• Valet-style drop-off and pick-up
