Doggie Den Inn is a veteran-owned, family-operated boarding facility on Eugene Jernigan Rd in Dunn, NC, offering dog boarding, cat boarding, training, and grooming under one roof. The Inn is open seven days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a midday closure from noon to 2 PM.

Boarding options

Boarding runs in two tiers, and both include indoor and outdoor playtime, fresh water, owner-provided meals, and a daily report card with photos. Premium Boarding is listed at $40 per night. VIP Boarding is $65 per night and adds 30 minutes of daily one-on-one enrichment, such as structured walks, puzzle games, and leash or recall work, plus flexible check-in and check-out.

Safety and cleaning

The building was designed for pet care rather than converted from something else. Every pet area sits behind badge-access doors, and a 360° exterior camera system is monitored around the clock during boarding stays. Kennels are sanitized at least twice daily, stainless-steel bowls are washed after every feeding, and the HVAC system includes UV air sterilization. Staff are certified in pet first aid and CPR through ProPetHero, and the facility is licensed by the NC Department of Agriculture.

Booking and policies

Reservations are made online, and the kennel recommends booking two to four weeks ahead for holidays and peak summer travel. Drop-off runs 2:00 to 4:30 PM and pickup 9:00 AM to noon; arrivals or departures outside those windows carry a $10 fee per pet. Dogs of every size are accepted, with no breed restrictions and no spay or neuter requirement, starting at 16 weeks old. Active duty military, veterans, and first responders receive 10% off year-round.
