Dog-Gone Purrr-Fect Pet Sitting & Doggie Daycare

Dog-Gone Purrr-Fect Pet Sitting & Doggie Daycare offers in-home dog boarding and doggie daycare from a family home at 36735 N. 12th St. in North Phoenix. Care comes from a certified veterinary technician with more than 35 years of experience. That level of training is unusual for a home-based boarding setup.

What services are offered?

Dogs stay in a home with a family instead of a traditional kennel building. The business offers overnight boarding, daytime care and grooming in the same place.

• In-home dog boarding in a family setting
• Doggie daycare
• Grooming, including fun hair coloring and nail coloring
• Medication administration
• In-home pet visits for residents who live nearby

Who is it a good fit for?

Owners of senior dogs or dogs with special needs may find this a good match. The business specializes in caring for older pets, and staff can give medication during a stay. A veterinary technician's background matters most for dogs that need more than routine attention.

Every new guest goes through a meet-n-greet first. This screening checks each dog's social skills before boarding or daycare begins. Owners of shy or reactive dogs can use that first meeting to talk through any concerns.

What should owners know before booking?

Bookings are made by phone at 602.980.4404. General questions can also go to nalcarazstrasser@yahoo.com. Hours are 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday.

Some owners would rather keep their dog at home. For them, in-home pet visits are available to residents who live near the Phoenix location. It's worth calling ahead to confirm that an address is close enough to qualify.
