Danmar Pet Resort

Tucked inside the Deer Valley Commerce Park in Phoenix, Arizona, Danmar Pet Resort is a family-owned and operated boarding facility that got its start caring for friends' and family's pets out of a New Jersey basement back in 2005. The owners, who have three dogs of their own, built the business around a simple philosophy: dogs are not numbers, they have names, and they're cared for like part of the family.

The resort's suite-style accommodations replace traditional cages with raised cots, privacy side panels, and sealed walls to reduce stress and prevent cross-contamination between guests. The facility is fully air conditioned with a dual-unit system tied to a security monitoring service that alerts staff if temperatures rise, while also filtering airborne viruses for a cleaner environment.

Health & Safety Policies

All boarding and daycare guests must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella vaccinations, and dogs over six months old must be spayed or neutered to join group play. Owners are encouraged to bring their pet's own food and favorite comfort items from home at no extra charge.

Since relocating to Arizona in 2008, the team has focused on keeping the operation intimate rather than expanding into a large corporate-style kennel, and they welcome prospective guests to tour the facility in person or watch the virtual tour online before booking.
