Dog Daze, serving the Charleston area since 1955, is a comprehensive pet care facility offering boarding, daycare, light grooming, and training services. Our philosophy centers on providing an environment that closely mirrors a dog's natural existence, prioritizing exercise, stimulation, and socialization. We believe that dogs thrive when they have the freedom to play and interact with other balanced, well-behaved dogs, which is paramount to their happiness and can help prevent unwanted behaviors stemming from boredom or confinement.

Our boarding guests enjoy our acclaimed Doggie Daycare program during the day, which includes outdoor group play, manners training, and enrichment toys. For those needing extra attention, we offer a Private Play option for dogs who are dog-aggressive or exhibit behaviors like resource guarding, ensuring they receive dedicated yard time and interaction with a kennel technician. We also provide a Supervised Play option for "flight risk" dogs.

We are committed to providing the best possible care for your four-legged family member. All dogs staying with us receive everything they need, including food, beds, bowls, toys, and blankets, at no extra cost. We also administer medications and monitor health conditions. Our facility features climate-controlled runs and kennel banks, with four large yards for dogs to expend energy. We are proud to support the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, helping to train FEMA-certified disaster K9s.
