Debbie's Doggie Den

Debbie's Doggie Den is an in-home dog boarding and daycare service at 1526 Gsell Drive in Chambersburg, PA. Dogs stay inside a licensed private home rather than a detached kennel building. That setup suits owners who want a quieter, more personal place for their dog. The service accepts small, medium, and large dogs.

What is a stay like?

Guests rest in built-in gated units with raised beds. Their days mix indoor and outdoor play times, and outdoor play happens in fenced yards with someone watching. Calming music plays every day, and brushing and massages are part of the routine. The website describes the place as a home away from home, with plenty of attention for each dog.

Can it handle dogs with special needs?

Care for special needs dogs is one of its focuses. The owner is certified in Pet First Aid/CPR, and the business offers medication administration for dogs that need it. Owners of older dogs or dogs on a medication schedule may find this a better fit than a large boarding facility.

What services are offered?

• Overnight boarding inside a licensed home
• Doggie daycare
• Medication administration
• Grooming, plus brushing and massages
• Indoor play and supervised play in fenced yards

How do you book a stay?

Booking is done by phone at (717) 491-7666. A meet & greet is required before any boarding stay, so plan for that step ahead of a trip. Vaccinations are required for all guests.
