Country Acres

Country Acres is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 3650 Hogback Road in Fowlerville, Michigan. It serves dog owners around Fowlerville and Howell. Along with overnight stays, it offers doggy daycare, training, grooming, and a cattery for cats.

What sets Country Acres apart?

The main draw is the setting. Country Acres describes its approach as enrichment-based care in a natural, open-air environment instead of keeping dogs indoors all day. Dogs spend time in large outdoor play areas, and boarding is cage-free. The idea is that dogs do better when they can move, explore, and engage with the world around them.

Staff provide constant supervision and hold Pet First Aid and CPR certification. The business also points to decades of experience caring for pets.

What services can owners book?

• Overnight dog boarding in a cage-free setting
• Doggy daycare with outdoor play and socialization
• Dog training for puppies and older dogs
• Grooming
• A cattery for feline guests

Daycare is meant to help dogs burn off pent-up energy while also getting mental and social stimulation. Training covers a wide range of needs, from a puppy still learning house manners to an older dog who keeps jumping on people. Owners who board can also arrange grooming without making a separate trip.

How does booking work?

Bookings are made by phone. Owners can call Country Acres at 517-223-3939 to check availability and ask about rates and first-stay requirements. Because the facility also has a cattery, households with both dogs and cats can keep every pet in one place while they travel.
